Though the substance is the same

Thin, bendable, able to be torn but taped together

Their purpose egocentric entertainment

They are prolific

I’ve now had eyes open to how

I’ve been blinded to their differences

Between those created with substance and depth

Shifting from taking words on paper and voice

From just their meaning without the substance of an action

To corroborate the consistency of their connotation

Is no longer my modus operandi

Maybe proving your worth to me

Will make mine that much more apparently
